I'm a Service Advisor at Serra Traverse City, though I'm still learning. Originally from Hatteras, North Carolina, I've been in the industry for about three years now. I'm always upbeat, ready to listen to customer concerns, and I try to treat everyone with empathy and respect. My goal is to make sure every customer leaves with a smile and feels like a VIP. If you're not having fun at work, then it's just work, and that gets old. Outside of work, I love being outdoors. I'm a big fan of woodworking, fishing, hunting, and pretty much anything else that lets me enjoy nature. I also love to talk about guns, hunting, fishing, traveling, camping, and home improvement projects. I went to Anchor Bay High School and I enjoy exploring nature all over the USA. I have two kids and four grandkids.

Gene was busy the day I was there because it was July 3, and others were out for the holiday. He was pleasant enough. What I was unhappy about was the lack of communication about my car's appointment. What was to be an up-to-two-hour appointment, went over time. I had to approach the counter and ask for an update after 2 1/4 hours. I was told another 5-10 minutes. After over 15 minutes, I approached the counter again. Argh, I can understand when things take longer, but keeping the customer informed is paramount for good customer service. Even when the news is a negative report, keep the customer informed as their time is valuable.

Good. Haven't been on a trip where we can go over 70 yet to really check wind noise.

He ignored my presence for the first 5 minutes of being there and then let my car sit for 10 minutes after the techs were done before coming to get me.
