Born and raised in beautiful Charlevoix, I've spent the last nine years in the auto industry, and currently with Serra Traverse City. I'm a proud Spartan and a North Central Michigan College alum. Having lived in Texas for four years, I've got a little bit of the Lone Star State in me. When I'm not helping customers, you might find me at the billiards table, hitting the disc golf course, hiking the trails, or lost in a good book. I also enjoy strumming the guitar, and am always eager to dive into the latest science concepts. I pride myself on being personable, easy to communicate with, and I really enjoy the challenge of abstract thinking.

Once I finally got through to a real person and got scheduled in a reasonable amount of time, the rest of the experience was great. Our car was done very quickly, and Chad explained everything very well.

Chad has been trying to get my Land Cruiser in for a hood protector replacement for the last week so it’s not his fault. Warranty repairs should not be this difficult.

Chad was fine, but the overall service experience was very poorly managed. I had requested a diagnosis for a repair at an oil change appt - the diagnosis was completed and parts were ordered and a follow appt was scheduled to complete the repair. At the subsequent appt, I was told the parts ordered were incomplete to conduct the repair, and I'd have to reschedule. Chad told me he'd call me to reschedule once he got clarity on the repair and what parts were needed. After a week, I called the service department, was told by whomever answered the phone that he'd put a note on Chad's desk to call me, and I also was routed to Chad's voicemail where I left him a message requesting a call back to schedule the repair. I have yet to hear back from him. At this point, I've taken the car elsewhere to complete the repair now. I was very disappointed in that service experience, and it is definitely outside the typical service Serra has given me for years. I'm not sure if I'll come back to Serra or not going forward.
